Therapy Dog Day!

About Cocoa and her Owner:

Debbie Cagle was born and raised in northwest Pennsylvania. After spending most of her career working in office management, Debbie embraced volunteer activities upon retirement. In 2022, Debbie and her dog Cocoa became a certified Therapy Dog Handler and Therapy Dog team through the national Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Cocoa, a blue-eyed Whoodle (Wheaton Terrier and Poodle mix) regularly accompanies Debbie to schools, nursing homes, hospitals, libraries, the judicial center, community events, and other special invitation visits.

In addition, Cocoa goes to work with Debbie at her part-time job at Women’s Services in Meadville. Women’s Services provides a shelter for women and children who were victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Cocoa gives and receives a lot of love with the guests at the shelter!  

About Topawz Shop:

Topawz is a pet accessory and toy business started in 2023 by Topaz Thimble to help raise money for local animal rescues in the area. We also donate bows to the adoptable pets to help them feel fancy on adoption day!
