Meet Amanda - Amarah's Founder
Amanda is the heart behind Amarah! Originally from Camp Hill, PA, she made her way to the Pittsburgh area to attend California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice. After building a successful career in the field, the birth of her son, Cooper, inspired her to reimagine what a fulfilling life could look like—one driven by creativity, community, and connection.
A lifelong lover of style with a sharp eye for fashion, Amanda made the leap into fashion consulting, driven by a desire to empower other women through clothing that’s inclusive, flattering, and accessible. Over the past seven years, she’s been spreading that mission with joy, helping women feel confident and seen in what they wear.
Amarah was born from Amanda’s vision to merge fashion and fitness into one vibrant, welcoming space. She saw a need for a community-focused boutique and studio that embraced every body—regardless of age, race, size, or fitness level—and decided to build it right in the heart of Brookline. What started as a dream quickly became a movement.
At its core, Amarah’s mission is to empower individuals to look good, feel strong, and belong—through thoughtfully curated fashion and inclusive, energizing fitness experiences. It’s about celebrating individuality, building confidence, and creating a space where everyone feels at home.
Amanda has proudly called Brookline home since 2012, where she lives with her husband, Joe, their son, Cooper, and their daughter, Saylor. Together, their family is honored to offer a space that uplifts, celebrates, and serves the neighborhood they love so much.
